Merry Christmas from Element C: Christmas and Holiday Photo Cards

I entered a winter wonderland in a local craft store a few weeks ago. It was September. No, I didn't buy a Christmas tree or some schnazzy garland (although it was tempting) but it did remind me Element C has an early Christmas gift for you! I figure I can tell you now since it's October (and because it feels like December).

We have designed a few Christmas and Holiday photo cards that can be customized and personalized for your family. It's so easy! Choose your favorite photo card. Send us your photo. Approve the proof we send you. Get your personalized Christmas cards. Send to all your family and friends. Visit elementcstudio.com and click on the "holiday card" section to see all of our designs. Then place your order by emailing us at info@elementcstudio.com.

Baby Shower Invitation

We've recently completed baby shower invitations for our good friends, Kelly & Anthony, who are expecting their first little one in December. We couldn't be more excited for them and were so happy to be able to add a little touch of creativity to these invitations.

If you or anyone you know has a baby (or bridal) shower coming up, check out some of the designs we've done. We'd love to work with you to create something unique to compliment any themes or ideas you might have!

17. Eclectic home furnishings shop

Today's blog is brought to you by the letters "L" and "S". So these gems may not be for everyone but as they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. On a beautiful Saturday morning we explored past City Market and came across the River Market Antique Mall at 5th and Wyandotte. This "mall" is a blast from the past, where one can find many things they remember finding in their grandma's basement. We ended up leaving with nothing but it was hard to leave our light-up initials behind.

#43 Itty Bitty Bakery

Thanks to friend who is addicted to anything sweet, we were directed to a little treasure of a bakery northeast of downtown Kansas City. Boulevard Bakery & Pastries has everything from tasty pastries to cookies so cute it’s hard to bite into them! Check out their website to see the many sugar cookie designs they create. The prices are also very reasonable, so the next time you have a craving…

Wedding Invitation: Kansas City Couple, Chris & Kristin

We've just completed wedding invitations for Chris & Kristin, a Kansas City couple that holds a special place in our hearts. Kristin is not only my (Lindsey) cousin but also a very close friend to both of us. In fact, we'll both be standing next to her as bridesmaids on the big day! Chris & Kristin met a couple years ago while working together. Their friendship soon transformed into a love that continues to grow to this day. After a mountain top proposal in Breckenridge, these two have decided to have a wedding that pays tribute not only to their deepening relationship, but also to one of the most special places in Kristin's heart -- Manhattan, KS or home to the Kansas State Wildcats. (Go State!)

Chris & Kristin, we wish you the best in all life has to offer as God continues to strengthen you both in your love. We can't wait to share the big day with you!

#1 Boulevard Brewhaha

Boulevard Brewing Company's Muehlebach Suite is a gem of a venue for a wedding reception that aims to incorporate one of the mainstays of KC culture. Located on the third floor of the brewery is a good-sized room, complete with ample space for tables and maybe a little dancing, if the need arises! A round bar at the top of the staircase features all of the traditional Boulevard brews and also a few lesser known. The entire, facing wall of the room is lined with windows that open up to an awesome rooftop patio. It gives the perfect view of the Kansas City Skyline and has several bartop tables and benches, making for great conversation or relaxation. It wouldn't take much to make this into an amazing spot for your reception! All you need is a couple (or several....) of your closest friends and family members to make this place even more amazing than it already is! Check into reserving it today!

Save The Dates: Wichita Couple, Ky & Laura

Today we're unveiling Save The Dates magnets recently completed for Ky & Laura, a lovely couple in Wichita. Their fall 2009 wedding is steadily approaching, and they wanted to give their guests a heads-up since the actual ceremony is in Tomball, Texas. What better way than a bright and happy magnet to adorn their guests' refrigerators for the next few months?! We had a lot of fun putting together designs for this amazing couple. It isn't too difficult when you have such fun and classy photos of two people that are obviously very much in love!

We're currently putting together several designs for their wedding invitations and look forward to sharing those once they hit the presses.

If you're looking for a great photographer in the Wichita area, be sure to check out Gingeroot Studios. Gina and Lindsey take great shots and make designing on our end much easier!

And So It Begins...

Welcome to Element Creative Studio. You’re invited to come along with us on a brave journey of owning our own company. Why, you ask have we ventured into the scary world of ecommerce alone? Because we like to be creative, think differently, and sometimes get a little crazy. (These are a little hard to do in a conventional office.) So you’re welcome to get a peak into our lives, updates on what we’re working on, and most importantly a variety of tips ranging anywhere from what seasonal wedding colors are “in” to how long it would take to dig to the core of the earth (Lindsey’s most recent research project). Hope you enjoy the ride…it may be bumpy, but we’re already lovin’ it.
